The HWRL provides Tours for the general public, Open Houses and technical visits for researchers, the industry, and stakeholders.

The HWRL typically hosts two open houses per year in conjuction with OSU Mom's Weekend in the Spring and the Family Weekend in the Fall.  The open house features a 15-20 minute guide tour highlight active reserach projects and the specilized equpiment that make the research possible. On average these events serve between 600-1000 people.

The next Open House is tentaively scheduled for Spring 2019.
